Seeking independent business and economic consultants with expertise in Uganda, Kenya, Eritrea, Tanzania, Ethiopia and/or Djibouti for project-based research to evaluate investment opportunities in the emerging markets of Eastern Africa.

Successful candidate will have lived and worked in his/her area of expertise, and be proficient in the areas of international trade and marketing, risk assessment and/or business formation, as well as with local governmental, cultural and business practices.

Candidates must be able to work independently, possess solid writing ability and, if currently residing elsewhere, the ability to travel to the above countries. English language required, with fluency in Kiswahili, Tigrinya, Arabic, Amharic and/or Afar a plus. Degree in business, finance or international marketing preferred.
