We have pioneered a mobile savings model that allows farmers to invest their own funds in high-quality seed, fertilizer, and agricultural training to increase their harvest and income by 50-100%. myAgro is at a pivotal moment in its history as it gears up to scale.
Our mission is to move smallholder farmers out of poverty. Our North Star is to increase the incomes of 1 million smallholder farmers by $1.50 a day by 2026. We are now seeking to appoint a Managing Director, Africa to join our dynamic and growing team and to lead us towards achieving our mission.
Reporting to the CEO of myAgro, the newly created role of Managing Director, Africa will lead a large, complex and multi-country operation by overseeing the development and execution of ambitious and impactful sales and operations plans as well as governmental relations. You will spearhead the drive to reach 1 million farmers by ensuring clarity and robust operations. This role is pivotal to myAgro pulling 1 million farmers out of poverty and will require someone with commercial drive, business acumen and a strong mission alignment. This is a time of tremendous opportunity for myAgro, but also a challenging juncture to improve our business performance. We are looking for a leader who will work at pace, demonstrate visible and inclusive leadership, as well as collaborate across the organization to take us to the next step of the journey. As a member of the Executive team, you will contribute to the overall direction and strategy of the organization.
