This is a great opportunity for a 3G Technical Support Professional with broad experience of 2G or 3G technologies to join a growing Global Support team within a leading edge mobile technology vendor.
The primary function of this role is to provide remote technical support to a global customer base ensuring customers issues are resolved within SLA’s. Will also provide support to internal product and sales teams and occasionally supporting customers on site. The technology is diverse and constantly evolving so provides an excellent opportunity to continuously learn and develop new technology skills.

Our client’s technologies touch the Radio Access, the Core and OSS / NOC environments. We are aware that the technologies involved are diverse and therefore the successful candidate will have experience of just some of the following gained from a 3G / 2G technology environment;
* A minimum of 2 years experience within the Mobile Communications industry (essential)
* Experience of working within a support environment gained from an Infrastructure vendor (3G, RAN, Core, IP or Backhaul etc.), Software Vendor (NMS, OSS, tools etc.) or within an Operator environment (NOC, OMC)
* Broad knowledge of UMTS Technologies
* Good understanding of TCP/IP technologies
* Experience of using trouble shooting tools (Wireshark, TEMS etc.)
* Some experience of administering UNIX / LINUX Operating systems desirable
